The genesis of a good character, which you don’t see very often. Plays like the introduction of a series (see comments for Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring). I’d like to see the story continue.
Interesting camera angles, Willis gets through a whole film without smirking. He seems to be getting drama down. Once again, he plays a character who is a bit out there. Jackson is really good. He’s a delusional comicbook-lover who wants to make his life like a comic book, but that doesn’t explain where willis really got his comic book powers.
