Interesting German film about the meaning of love to a couple of angels, if not a little slow at times. But what a difference it makes in the theatre, especially the sound.

A weak storyline. Many interesting connections between childhood and love. And after seeing the movie, the concept of former angels everywhere around us is freaky.

One of the scenes in this movie is a crowd of children rushing to pop balloons which had fallen from above. When I was little, I never wanted to pop those balloons. I was one of the only ones who wanted to save one for myself and see how long it would last.

A person dies and an angel dies. The blond angel actually loses both. Interesting transformation from angel to person. I like the Terminator 2-like quote at the end: “I know now what no angel knows.” And the James Dean guest appearance was kind of special.
