For a guy who hasn’t been touched in years, he sure gets a lot of action in the few months before he dies. A carbon-copy of American Beauty. Similar in so many ways. Kline and Christensen are good. Thomas is OK but her stunted accent is distracting.

Really didn’t need to be made. A genius like Burton should spend his time creating original material, not remaking other people’s ideas. Some original twists, and the sppace effects are good. The costuming and make-up in this high-budget remake are obviously good, but the characters are stale. Wahlberg’s not best…
